Jared Richardson Photography

Welcome to the latest incarnation of the website.  You may notice that some things have changed including the name, colour scheme and layout.  I’m curious to hear what you have to say so please don’t hesitate to provide your comments or suggestions.  

Why the name change?  Well it’s more that the primary name has changed. Basically, what my goal here is to start moving forward with the website and potential photographic services.  I feel that changing the name from Radarland to Jared Richardson Photography will put a more personalized aspect to the site.  I guess a current buzzword that you could use is referring to my “brand.”  

Why the theme/layout/colour change?  I do want to keep things fresh, and over the past few months I’ve reviewed the different aspects of the website.  I really do like the “dark” colour schemes, but I wasn’t convince about the Journal being light print on a dark background.   I’ll give this new scheme a try and we can see how it goes.

I’d like to give a big thank you to everyone who contacted me after I implemented the website changes the other day.  Your comments, thoughts and suggestions are appreciated and are part of the reason why I continue to work at maintaining a web presence.  

Over the past couple of weeks, I have been in a good place, and have been planning, implementing and working on over due projects.  The main goals for the upcoming weeks are to have everything streamlined, completed and in place to start the next series of projects.  The biggest one of these is the photowalk on February 27-28, 2010.

For tonight, I think we’ll just leave it at that as there will be more information and nifty stuff coming in the near future.
