Vermillion Lakes in 365 Project A Few New Photos
Friday, December 31, 2010 at 12:23AM Charlotte and I were able to get away to Banff for our annual Christmastime sojourn. We just got home earlier this evening, and I was excited to see some of the photos that I took today. Weather in the mountains can vary drastically, and in true form we received a snowy, overcast day yesterday; and a bright sunny, crisp day today as we were leaving. The temperature averaged around -20C, and I was excited to be able to photograph mist rising from open water.
In any event, here are a few of my favorite photos from today. Most were shot at the Vermillion Lakes on the edge of Banff, and one shot of a mountain was close to Spray Lakes close to Canmore.
